McGinlay's was a parody of another, better known literary website. It ran from 2002-2006.

It purported to be funded by Patrick McGinlay, MP. He, too is a parody, and a fictional human being (although some still believe he exists).

Through this site, we received passes to Spring Fashion Week and entry to media screenings of (mostly bad) Hollywood movies.

Its writers have gone on to things.
